Improvisation dance performance. As a painter I wanted to capture the ephemere drawings that the dancers do with their movements and see them on paper. Le dessin dansé it's also about how artists fill themselves with life experiences that later they reflect in their works. Arata Isozaki's essential architecture was a perfect place for the black and white drawing, not only for its perfect beauty but also for the upper terrace where I could place the cenital camera, the only way to show the final drawing dance. Irene Sposetti danced there for more than twenty minutes. I'd rather that at the end of the performance the dancer did a simple drawing as a synthesis of the dance, in two or three callygraphic strokes, but it turned out to be more expressionist than that. I turned the cenital camera upside down to give the image a less realistic look, and it was gracephuly and patiently holded by Cristina Ballesteros, a painter friend. The editing was made in a hurry, maybe a shorter version would be better? This is a clip that I would like to improve so all your comments are most welcome.
